Characteristics of transport flows and movement processes in tourist areas

This study analyzes the specific characteristics of traffic flow and traffic movement processes in tourist areas, as well as their impact on ambient air quality. Using the Zaamin tourist area as a case study, seasonal variations in traffic flow, road and terrain conditions, vehicle composition, and the influence of vehicle speed on harmful gas emissions were investigated. Mathematical models and emission coefficients were applied to estimate emissions of carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and particulate matter (PM).
